They begin by entering their Swim England Number to distinguish them from other swimmers. Once entered click the **Enter Meet** button to go on to the Personal Details page. **N.B. There is no lookup with Swim England, so if the swimmer gets this wrong then you have the ability to update their information later through the** [**All Entries Report**](/gala-organiser-user-guide/reports/all-entries-by-club.md)

Here the swimmer enters their personal details (name, date of birth, sex, gender identity), their club and their contact details (parent details for swimmers under 18). Parents also have the opportunity to volunteer to help with any of the roles requested, and for which sessions. At the top of the page any **Single Swimmer Entry Text** you have defined on the [Extra Meet Information](/gala-organiser-user-guide/meets-menu/meet-list/extra-meet-information.md) page is show. Enter all the required details and click the **View Eligible Race** button to go on to the Event Selection page.

Here the swimmer is shown their personal details as confirmation, and the events they are eligible for, based on their sex/gender identity and age. To select races, simply enter a valid qualifying time in the relevant Entry Time box (in the format mm:ss.hh) for all races the swimmer wishes to enter. Once this has been done, select the method of payment from the options given (currently only Credit/Debit Card is available) and click the **Next >** button to go on to the Confirmation page.

Here the swimmer can see the races they are entering, and the total cost (including any admin fee incurred by the club). Click the **Pay With Card** button to go to the payment page, dependent on the payment provider (currently only Stripe is available).

Here the swimmer, or parent, can enter their credit/debit card details and postcode, and click the **Pay** button. Once the payment has gone through successfully the payee will be taken to the Payment Confirmation page **N.B. Alternatively Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link Payments are available where applicable.**

Here the swimmer sees that their payment for their entry has been successful, and shortly after will receive an email from Gala Organiser confirming their entry, and one from Stripe confirming their payment. Sometimes the Gala Organiser email doesn't come through, but if they are showing on the system then it's possible the email has gone to their junk folder. If they don't appear on the system, then it's possible they've closed the confirmation window before the payment was completed. In this instance contact us at with all the entry details and we will add them to the system for you.
