# Upload a SportSystems Meet

This page allows you to upload a SportSytems Meet Entry file in order to set up a new Meet.

Choose a SportSystems .sef file (ensure you do not try to upload the zip file containing the .sef file otherwise it will fail), and click the **Upload SS Meet Entry File** button.

You will then be presented with a page showing the information that has been found within the file, such as Age At Date, Age Groups etc. At this point enter the information that isn't in the file.

You can enter the following information:

* **Meet Licence No.**
* **Meet Level**
* **Meet Venue** (you may need to add a [Venue](/gala-organiser-user-guide/user-menu/venues.md) first)
* **No. of Lanes to be used** (6 - 10, used when calculating [Session Timings](/gala-organiser-user-guide/reports/session-timings-excluding-rejections-withdrawals.md))
* **Meet Start Date**
* **Meet End Date**
* **Meet Opening Date** - date you wish the Meet entry page to be viewable
* **Meet Closing Date** - date you wish entry to no longer be available
* **Allow SE Cat 1 Entries** - defaulted to No
* **Allow swimmers with No Times to enter** - defaulted to No
* **Coach Pass Text**
* **Technical Officials Required** - defaulted to Yes
* **Helpers Required** - defaulted to Yes
* **Coach Pass Cost (Per Day)**
* **Spectator Cost (Per Day)**
* **Spectator Cost (Per Session)**
* **Maximum No. of Spectators per Session**
* **Free Spectator Tickets Available** - defaulted to No
* **Maximum Age for Free Spectator Ticket**s
* **Admin Fee (Individual Entries)** - fee to cover the cost of Stripe fees
* **Admin Fee - Exclude Own Club** - Don't penalise your own club's swimmers!
* **Open to Enter** - defaulted to No - change this when you are ready to open the meet for entries (subject to the Meet Opening Date), or set it to No once the meet has started if you are no longer taking any more entries.

When you are happy click the Process File button and your meet will be created, and the number of Meet credits will decrease by 1.

**N.B. You will not be able to upload a meet if your Meet Credits are at 0**
